Weifang University of Science and Technology is an applied undergraduate university in Shouguang, under the city of Weifang in Shandong Province. It was founded in 1984 and is sponsored by the Shouguang municipal government, later becoming a full undergraduate institution. Located in one of China's largest vegetable production bases, the university is especially known for agriculture, horticulture and facility-agriculture programs, alongside chemical engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering and computing. It enrolls more than thirty thousand full-time students on a large campus in Shouguang.
