📖 About the university
Inner Mongolia Arts University, founded in 1957 as the Inner Mongolia Art School and upgraded to a university in 2015, is the only independent comprehensive higher arts institution in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Based in Hohhot, it comprises colleges of music, dance, fine arts, film and design, with a strong emphasis on Mongolian ethnic arts. The university has signed exchange agreements with arts institutions abroad, including in Mongolia, the United States and Denmark. It hosts international students and cultural exchange programs.
