📖 About the university

Inner Mongolia Honder College of Arts and Sciences is a private full-time undergraduate institution on Airport Road in Xincheng district of Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It began in 2008 as the Hongde College of Inner Mongolia Normal University, an independent college created under the region's main teacher-training university, and in 2020 it separated from the normal university and converted into an independently constituted private college under the present name, managed by the Hongchuang science and education company. It was the first independent college in Inner Mongolia to complete the national conversion. The normal-university parentage still shows in its strongest suit — teacher education, early-childhood education, Chinese and foreign-language programmes that supply schools and kindergartens across the sparsely served region — while economics, management, accounting, arts, media and design tracks broaden the catalogue for the Hohhot job market. Its position matters locally: private undergraduate capacity in Inner Mongolia is among the thinnest in China, and the college keeps students in the regional capital who would otherwise leave for neighbouring provinces. Teaching is in Chinese and enrolment is domestic.
