📖 About the university

Hebei University of Environmental Engineering, established in 1981 and granted undergraduate status in 2016, is the only university in China with ecology and environmental protection as its distinctive focus. Located in the coastal city of Qinhuangdao, it is jointly built by the Hebei Provincial Government and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The university runs a Sino-Finnish cooperative environmental engineering program with Savonia University of Applied Sciences. It specializes in training professionals for environmental protection and green development.
