Hengshui University, founded in 1923 and upgraded from a normal college to university status in 2004, is a public undergraduate institution in southeastern Hebei near Hengshui Lake. It offers 63 undergraduate majors across nine disciplines including literature, science, engineering, education and the arts. The university has developed international cooperation with partners in South Korea, the United States, Italy and other countries, including joint arts and mathematics programs. It serves over fifteen thousand full-time students.
