📖 About the university

Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE), founded in 1960 as the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, is celebrated as a 'cradle of China's international-business talents'. Created by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade, it specialises in international economics and trade, finance, business, law and international relations. In 2019 it became the WTO's only regional training partner on the Chinese mainland, underlining its role in global-trade education. Its modern campus in Songjiang sits within Shanghai's university belt. SUIBE is a strong destination for international students studying trade, finance and business in China's commercial capital.
