📖 About the university

Chongqing College of Humanities, Science and Technology is a private undergraduate university in the Caojie area of Hechuan District, Chongqing. It originated in 2000 as the Xingzhi Yucai College of Southwest Normal University and became an independent undergraduate institution under the Chongqing municipal education authority in 2013. The campus stands on ground where the great educator Tao Xingzhi ran a school during the war years, a heritage the university takes as its guiding spirit. It is a multidisciplinary applied university with programmes in law, literature and journalism, management, engineering, agriculture and nursing, and is a designated pilot for building toward professional master's education in Chongqing.
