Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology is a new public research university approved by the Ministry of Education in 2024 and established by Shenzhen Municipality. Built on the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it emphasises the integration of research and industry in fields such as computing, life and health sciences, and advanced materials. Its campus is in the Guangming Science City district, a major national research cluster.
