Hefei Normal University is a provincial public teacher-training university in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. Its predecessor, Anhui Education College, was founded in 1955, and it became a full undergraduate institution in 2007. The university operates three campuses and offers fifty-seven undergraduate programs across education, science, engineering, arts and management. It plays a leading role in training primary and secondary school teachers for Anhui Province.
