Tianjin University of Commerce (TJCU), founded in 1980, is a public university in Tianjin specialising in commerce, business and management, complemented by engineering. Alongside strong economics, trade, accounting and tourism-management programmes, it is distinctively known nationally for refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, a legacy of its cold-chain and food-storage focus.
