📖 About the university

Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB), founded in 1956, is a leading finance-and-economics university administered by the Beijing Municipality. It traces its origins to the Beijing Economic College (1956) and the Beijing Municipal Finance and Trade Cadre School, and took its present form in 1995 when the Beijing College of Economics and the Beijing Institute of Finance and Trade merged. The university is organised around economics, management, law, literature, science and engineering, with economics and management as its acknowledged strengths, and it is especially well known for labour economics and applied business research. Its main campus lies in Fengtai District with a second campus in Chaoyang, placing students inside China's capital and its dense job market. CUEB is a popular choice for international students seeking business and economics education in Beijing.
