🚇 To & from the city centre
Wuhan's newest station (2024). Reach the centre directly on Metro Line 11, or by taxi/bus. Line 11 links it toward Wuchang and the business area.
- Line 11 Wuhan East Railway Station (武汉东站)
Large modern station on Wuhan's eastern edge. Halal food is easiest in central Wuhan's Hui Muslim quarter. Allow extra time for the long metro ride.
🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (WUH, far northwest): from Wuhan East Railway Station take Metro Line 11 and transfer to Line 2, which runs to Tianhe Airport Terminal 3; about 1 hour 25 minutes for 8 yuan. The metro is the low-cost option; a taxi at around 120 yuan and 50 minutes is the fast choice.
