Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport (TAO) connects directly to Qingdao North Railway Station by Metro Line 8, a dedicated fast airport line. The ride takes about 50 minutes and costs only ¥7, with no transfers needed. A taxi takes about 40 minutes but costs ¥120-150. There is no free service, but Line 8's direct link makes this the simplest transfer of any Qingdao station.
