Mohe has no metro. The station is inside the city; use city buses or a taxi/Didi to reach nearby Beiji Village, China's northernmost point.
Built in 1972 and formerly known as Xilinji station or Mohe County station, this third-class station on the Fuxi railway is managed by the Jiagedaqi railway administration. Mohe station is China's northernmost passenger railway station, with about 6 trains stopping daily and a new station building opened on 24 October 2015; the city draws large numbers of winter tourists chasing the aurora and extreme cold.
