Closer to the centre than Kunming South and better for destinations within Yunnan. Note: some travellers alight at South Ring Road station to avoid a walk.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG, about 25 km): Airport Express Bus Line 6 runs from Kunming Railway Station to the airport in about 42 minutes for 25 yuan. By metro, connect onto the airport-serving Line 6, roughly 40 to 50 minutes for 7 yuan (the low-cost option). A taxi is around 90 yuan.
