Korla has no metro. The station is near the city; use a taxi or bus. An important node on the Southern Xinjiang line and terminus of the Golmud–Korla railway.

Traveller notes

The largest city in southern Xinjiang, a gateway to the Taklamakan Desert and Bosten Lake. The Golmud–Korla railway (opened 2020) shortened the link to Qinghai. Plenty of halal food.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Korla Licheng Airport (KRL) is about 17 km from Korla Railway Station. A taxi costs about ¥30-40 and takes 20-30 minutes, the simplest option. An airport shuttle bus links the airport with downtown points for less, but with fewer departures.
