Traveller notes

Opened 1996 on the Beijing–Kowloon railway, and terminus of the Haoji freight line. Ordinary trains to Nanchang, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Base for visiting the Jinggang Mountains.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Ji'an Jinggangshan Airport (JGS), about 40-50 km: the airport lies well outside the city, with no rail or metro link, so the main public option is the airport shuttle bus running between central Ji'an and the terminal in about 60-80 minutes. A taxi takes roughly 40-60 minutes and costs about 100-120 yuan given the distance. There is no free transfer; allow generous time before departure.
