Guiping has no metro. Dedicated shuttle buses, local buses and taxis/Didi run from the station into downtown and toward Xishan mountain.

Opened 18 April 2014 on the Nanning–Guangzhou high-speed railway and managed by the Yulin depot of China Railway Nanning Group. The station building exceeds 8,000 sqm with capacity for over 600 passengers and has two platforms with six tracks; it is the main gateway for visiting Guiping's famous Buddhist Xishan mountain.
