Chaozhou Railway Station

There is no metro in Chaozhou. The station is in the Fengxi area west of the old town; use a taxi/Didi or city bus to reach historic central Chaozhou (Guangji Bridge and the Paifang Street).

A conventional station built in 1995 on the Guangmeishan railway, which opened to passengers on 28 December 1995. It is served by ordinary K-prefix express trains (e.g. K688, K9222) and is NOT a high-speed station. This station is NOT Chaoshan station (潮汕站), which is already in this directory: Chaoshan is in Shaxi town, Chao'an District, is a station on the Xiamen–Shenzhen high-speed railway and the junction for the Meizhou–Shantou line, and runs hundreds of D/G trains a day serving Chaozhou, Shantou and Jieyang together. If your ticket shows a G or D train number you are almost certainly arriving at 潮汕站, not 潮州站 — check the Chinese name printed on the ticket.
