Weihai Zhongshi Korean International School

威海中世韩国国际学校
🌍 International schools 📍 Weihai 📚 South Korean national curriculum; an MOE-approved school for children of foreign personnel since 2006

📖 About the school

Founded by the Korean-American educator Lee Yong-kyu and approved by China's Ministry of Education in 2006 as a school for children of foreign personnel. It sits in the Weihai Lingang Economic & Technological Development Zone on a site of about 16,054 m² with roughly 18,068 m² of buildings, and has about 70 staff of whom 57 are full-time teachers. Being a licensed school for children of foreign personnel means foreign passport holders are its regulated intake, but teaching is in Korean on the Korean curriculum and we could NOT verify that non-Korean foreign students are accepted — check with admissions. The school publishes a 10% discount for families with two children and 20% for three.
