The Zhuozhou Mosque dates to the early Ming dynasty and has more than five hundred years of history, having undergone several reconstructions; its surviving main hall was rebuilt during the Kangxi era of the Qing. Facing east in a single-courtyard siheyuan layout of about 2,426 square metres, it comprises a gate tower, a main prayer hall, north and south lecture halls, ablution rooms and several stone tablets, and is a city (county)-level cultural heritage protection unit of Zhuozhou.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested.
