Xiaojiaxiang Mosque is the main mosque in the urban area of Yichang, built in 1921 in the old city district that is now Xiling District. Its principal building is the prayer hall, a two-storey Western-style brick-and-concrete structure. The hall can hold more than a hundred worshippers for congregational prayer. It serves the Hui Muslim community of central Yichang on the Yangtze River.
