The Xiangfang Mosque is a century-old congregation that originally stood in the old Xiangfang district of Harbin. In 2000 it relocated to its present site on Songshan Road, where a modern Arabic-style comprehensive mosque was built. The new building blends the community's long history with contemporary Islamic architecture, including domes and a minaret. It serves the Hui and other Muslim residents of eastern Harbin.
