📜 About & history

Wuliqiao Mosque is the largest, best-equipped and culturally richest of the eighteen mosques in Dali City. It houses the Dali City Islamic Association and the Dali Muslim Vocational School, serving as a centre for the spread and display of Islamic culture in the region. As the hub of the local Hui community, it hosts religious education alongside daily worship. The Hui of Dali descend from the large influx of Muslims who entered Yunnan when Kublai Khan's forces took Dali in 1253.
