📜 About & history
Founded in 1932 with funds raised by Hebei Muslims Han Fuxing and Yang Guanting, built as a traditional Chinese palace-style courtyard with a prayer hall, north and south lecture halls and a hexagonal moon-watching tower. Expanded in 1942 into one of Bengbu's largest mosques; during the 1957 religious reforms the city's mosques were merged into it and it was renamed the Bengbu Mosque, reverting to its original name in 1979. Listed as a municipal cultural relic in 2010.
