📜 About & history

Built in 1914 on an area of about 2,200 square metres, one of the earliest mosques in Bengbu. It was initiated and funded by Ding Zhifu, a wealthy merchant originally from Zhoukou, Henan, who chose a site in the bustling commercial district. The mosque name was inscribed by Mu Qing, former director of the Xinhua News Agency.
