📜 About & history
The Yisan Saiti Mosque was built in 1901 by the Tatar Umar Haji and stands at the south end of Weisheng Street in the border city of Tacheng in northwestern Xinjiang. It serves a mixed Tatar, Kazakh, Hui and Uyghur community and is a landmark of the old town, alongside historic minarets listed as national relics.
