📜 About & history

Songpan Mosque stands inside the historic Songpan Ancient Town, a trading fortress on the 'West Gate of Sichuan' whose present walls date from the Ming dynasty. The mosque serves the local Hui Muslim community, who live alongside Tibetan, Qiang and Han residents, and holds the five daily prayers.
