Santunbei Mosque is a neighborhood mosque in the Shengli Road area of Tianshan District, central Ürümqi. As of 2012, Shengli Road subdistrict had four registered religious venues -- three mosques and one Russian Orthodox church -- with roughly 3,100 worshippers attending Friday prayers across the district's mosques each week, including around 700 at Santunbei Mosque. It stands alongside the nearby Erdaoqiao, Yanghang and Shaanxi Grand Mosques as one of the historic neighborhood mosques anchoring Muslim community life in this part of the city.
🕌 Prayer & visiting
Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times.
