Sanhe Hui Ethnic Township, at the confluence of the Ha'ul, Derbul and Genhe rivers in Ergun City under Hulunbuir's administration, is home to a Hui Muslim community that makes up roughly half of the township's population, alongside an ethnic Russian community of over 400 residents. The township, also known for its Sanhe cattle and Sanhe horses and for nearby birch forests, has one mosque serving its Hui residents.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times.
