📜 About & history
Built in 1930 by the Hui community of Baoji, this is the city's principal mosque and a designated Islamic religious venue. Baoji, an ancient railway and Silk Road trading town in western Shaanxi, drew Hui merchants dealing in leather, tea and livestock, who founded the congregation along Qunzhong Road in Jintai District, the old commercial core.

🚇 How to reach the mosque
Central Jintai District; multiple city bus lines stop near Qunzhong Road / Jintai Temple area.
No Arab trader quarter in Baoji. Arab visitors usually arrive from Xi'an (about 1.5 hours by high-speed rail to Baoji South, then local transfer).
Baoji has no metro. From Baoji Railway Station it is about 2 km north into Jintai District; taxi 5-10 minutes, or any bus toward Jintai Temple (Jintai Guan). Show the Chinese address to the driver.
Halal (qingzhen) beef noodle and lamb restaurants cluster around the Hui neighbourhood in Jintai District. Languages: Mandarin, local dialect.
