📜 About & history
Nanning Mosque dates to the Qing Kangxi era in the early 18th century, was moved to its present site around 1717 and renovated in 1804. It was damaged by warfare in 1857 and rebuilt in 1866. Closed and destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, it was rebuilt in 1981. The current three-storey building, in an Arab style with a conical dome and arched windows, covers about 1,890 m² and holds around 200 worshippers, with a dining area on the ground floor and the prayer hall on the top floor.

- Line 1 / 2 Chaoyang Square （朝阳广场）
Buses to Chaoyang Square, a major downtown hub a short walk from the mosque (e.g. routes 6, 8, 9, 22, 33, 41).
About 20–30 min by metro Line 1 from Nanning East Railway Station to Chaoyang Square.
Central location beside Chaoyang Square, the main downtown commercial hub — walkable from Chaoyang Square metro.
Right by Chaoyang Square, so very easy to reach; some maps label it under Xinhua Road. Taxi phrase: 请带我去南宁清真寺（新华街）
