📜 About & history
According to stele inscriptions kept in the mosque, Majiazhuang Mosque was first built in the Ming dynasty and has several centuries of history. It has a strongly Islamic architectural style, predominantly white with green tile decoration, and includes a large hall, a small hall, a scripture-teaching hall, ablution rooms and a funeral room.

Five daily prayers and Friday Jumu'ah; sermons in Chinese. In the Hongshan university and Guanggu tech belt, convenient for students.

City buses to Heping Street / Majiazhuang area of Hongshan District.
Close to Guanggu (Optics Valley) and the Hongshan university cluster where many international Muslim students study.
In Hongshan District (Wuchang side); taxi or metro plus bus. Show 武汉市洪山区和平街马家庄清真寺.
Complements the older downtown mosques (Minquan Road, Erqi Street, Qiyimen). Halal eateries near the universities. Chinese spoken.
