📜 About & history
Dapiyuan Mosque was founded in 1411 (the ninth year of the Ming Yongle reign), when Mr. Ma Daozhen purchased the land to build it. After long neglect its north and south pavilions and main hall had collapsed. The surviving carved stone railings, memorial archway, Manla tower and Guobai (announcing) tower were rebuilt in 1985, largely preserving the Ming-dynasty architectural style. It remains one of the historic 'Seven Mosques' of the Xi'an Muslim Quarter.

- Line 2 Bell Tower （钟楼）
- Line 1 Sajinqiao （洒金桥）
Buses to Qiaozikou (桥梓口) or Beidajie (北大街); then a short walk east into Dapiyuan Street.
Right inside the Muslim Quarter — a short walk within the 回坊 along the Dapiyuan food street.
From the Bell Tower head northwest into the Muslim Quarter; Dapiyuan Street is roughly a 12-minute walk, north of West Yangshi.
