📜 About & history
The Chiping South Gate Mosque was built in 1904 to serve the religious and educational needs of the Hui community in the South Gate quarter, with funds raised by Muslims and land donated by the Muslim doctor and elder Zhang Dengrun. Rebuilt in 2012 as the county's first traditional Ming-style complex, its hall holds about 200 worshippers.
