📜 About & history

Chengqu Mosque ('Urban District Mosque') is the sole Islamic place of worship among the twelve registered religious venues in Dongbao District, the central urban district of Jingmen in Hubei province. Alongside Buddhist temples such as Tang'an Temple and Taoist sites including the Baiyun Taoist temple, it serves as the religious center for the Hui Muslim community of Jingmen's city core.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times.
