📜 About & history
The Beixiajie Mosque was built in the late Qing / early Republican period in the heart of Zhengzhou's Hui quarter and served as a centre of the local Hui community's economic and cultural life. It occupies about 2.1 mu (1,400 sq m) with a total building area of some 1,100 sq m, its main prayer hall covering about 250 sq m. It is distinct from and later than the nearby Zhengzhou North Great Mosque (the Ming-founded city mosque on Qingzhensi Street).

🚇 How to reach the mosque
- Line 1 Erqi Square （二七广场）
Metro Line 1 to Erqi Square, then a short taxi/walk east into the Guancheng Hui quarter; city buses also serve Beixiajie.
Zhengzhou's Hui community and Muslim traders concentrate in the Guancheng Hui District around Beixiajie and the North Great Mosque; halal markets are within walking distance.
In central Guancheng District near the Shang-dynasty city wall ruins, about 1.5 km southeast of Erqi Square.
