💡 Tips for traders
Xiuyan jade is serpentine/nephrite, NOT Burmese jadeite (feicui) — do not pay jadeite prices for it; always ask for a national gem-testing certificate (国检证书) and keep the invoice; dyed and resin-filled pieces circulate, so buy from shops that will issue paperwork; the markets are spread between the county town and Hadabei town, so allow a full day and name the specific market to your driver
