China's largest ginseng trading market and the heart of Fusong, the 「home of Chinese ginseng」; founded 1989, expanded 1993 and rebuilt on a new site from 2005 with ¥120 million of investment. Around 60,000 tons of ginseng and 600+ ginseng products leave here for over 30 countries; in 2023 fresh-ginseng volume was 32,800 tons worth ¥2.74 bn plus ¥4.2 bn of dried ginseng

💡 Tips for traders
The main fresh-ginseng season is late August to October — outside it only dried ginseng trades; cultivated versus forest-grown ginseng differ enormously in price, so get an appraisal; ask the age and drying method; ginseng is a restricted import in some countries so check your own rules first
