It contains the Beibu Gulf International Seafood Market and a cross-border RMB settlement centre

🚇 Getting there

🚌
Bus

Dongxing city buses and taxis reach the border-trade wharf on the Beilun River and the Dongxing land port

🧭
From the city centre

Walking distance from central Dongxing and the land border crossing to Vietnam; reached from Nanning and Fangchenggang by expressway and by the Fangchenggang–Dongxing railway

💡 Tips for traders

The ¥8,000 duty-free allowance applies to registered local border residents, not to visiting foreign traders — if you are buying for export or resale, use a licensed customs broker and expect normal duties; seafood and fruit are perishable, so agree cold-chain and inspection terms in writing; bring your passport, as the port area is a controlled border zone
