Langfang

Langfang is a fast-growing city wedged between Beijing and Tianjin at the heart of the Jing-Jin-Ji megaregion, less than half an hour by high-speed train from either metropolis. Once farmland, it has become a hub for electronics, logistics and conference tourism, hosting major trade-in-services events and the futuristic Silk Road International Arts Center. Beijing Daxing International Airport, one of the world's largest, sits just across the municipal border and has accelerated the city's growth. The Shengfang wetland district is known for its river crabs and canal-town heritage. Langfang markets itself as a green, liveable satellite city of the capital.
