China's largest urban lake, spanning about 33 square kilometres in Wuhan and divided into five main scenic zones: Tingtao, Moshan, Luoyan, Baima and Chuidi. The Moshan Cherry Blossom Garden, with some 10,000 cherry trees, is regarded as one of the world's three great cherry blossom capitals. Its shores host year-round festivals, including cherry blossom and lotus flower festivals.
