The airport is about 20 km to the north of Songyuan city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

Named after Lake Chagan, famous for its winter ice fishing. A domestic regional airport in Jilin. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room.

To Songyuan Railway Station (regular/high-speed): there is no metro; the best option is a taxi directly from the airport, about 40 minutes. The airport shuttle bus toward the city center is also available, from where you can change to the station. Allow extra time at remote regional airports.
