🇨🇳 Inside China use Baidu or Amap; Google Maps needs a VPN.
🚇 Getting to the city centre
The airport is about 47 km from central Qinhuangdao and 34 km from the Beidaihe resort. No metro; reach the city by airport bus or taxi (about 40-50 min, 100-140 RMB).
Replaced the old military Shanhaiguan Airport in 2016. Serves the port city and the Beidaihe seaside resort on the Bohai Sea, with some regional flights. Busy in summer season.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport (BPE) is over 30 km from the city.
Qinhuangdao Railway Station (regular and high-speed): the airport shuttle bus takes about 1.5 hours for ¥20-40, but only departs when there are flights (tied to aircraft schedules). Alternatively a taxi is easier for reliable timing but costs more. There is no free option and no metro.
