~27 km east of downtown. Metro Line 19 (Airport Express) to Hangzhou East Railway Station ~20-23 min; Lines 1 & 7 reach the centre (45-60 min). Taxi ~40-50 min, ¥100-120.

🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) has excellent metro links via the fast Line 19, which even has luggage racks.
Hangzhou East Railway Station (high-speed): Metro Line 19 runs direct from the airport in about 25-30 minutes for ¥7-8 - the fastest and best option.
Hangzhou West Railway Station (high-speed): Metro Line 19 also runs direct to its western terminus, about 55-60 minutes for ¥10.
Hangzhou Railway Station (city/main, regular and high-speed): take Line 19 to Hangzhou East, then transfer to Line 1, about 50 minutes for ¥8.
