🚇 Getting to the city centre
The airport is ~21 km north of central Chongqing. Metro Line 10 links T2 and T3A to Chongqing North Railway Station in ~33 min, and Line 3 also serves T2. Reaching Jiefangbei downtown takes ~50 min with a transfer for ¥7–8. A taxi takes ~40–60 min and costs ~¥60–80.

Chongqing North Railway Station: Metro Line 10 direct from the airport in about 33 minutes for about 5 yuan, the fastest and cheapest.
Chongqing West Railway Station: Metro Line 10 with a transfer; about 50 minutes for about 7 yuan.
Chongqing Railway Station (Caiyuanba): Metro Line 10 with a transfer to Line 1 or 3; about 50 minutes for about 6 yuan.
Shapingba Railway Station: Metro Line 10 with a transfer to Line 1; about 55 minutes for about 7 yuan.
Chongqing East Railway Station: A new station far to the south; best reached by taxi for about 130 yuan in roughly 70 minutes.
