The airport is about 16 km to the west of Bazhong city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

Opened 2019 to serve the revolutionary base area of Bazhong in northeastern Sichuan. A domestic regional airport in Sichuan. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room.

To Bazhong Railway Station (regular/high-speed): there is no metro; the best option is a taxi directly from the airport, about 32 minutes. The airport shuttle bus toward the city center is also available, from where you can change to the station. Allow extra time at remote regional airports.
